Brenda Humphrey (Stage Manager) Its especially significant to work behind the scenes with Raisin. In the 80's, Alvin Tyndall played Linder, and assisted my mother’s dramatic group in producing this play. And when he directed it here at SGP in 2002, he molded me into his Lena. Happily, no lines to learn this time. I am once again delighting in the production of this play, and its times from whence we've traveled so far. We bring Raisin back for the celebration of SGP’s 30 years. The last nine years, each February, we have performed a black history month theme, and we plan to keep up that tradition if you promise to keep coming.
